Visit the Bay of Islands, a year round destination and birthplace of our nation.

Day 1: Auckland - Bay of Islands
Cross the Waitemata Harbour travelling north to Whangarei and Paihia. Upon arrival in Paihia visit the Waitangi Treaty Grounds.  The afternoon is at your leisure for optional activities, such as a visit to quaint Russell. Stay 2 nights in Paihia.

Day 2: Paihia - Cape Reinga - Paihia
A full day coach tour to Cape Reinga, via Puketi Kauri Forest, to view giant Kauri trees. Zoom along Ninety Mile Beach. Stop for sightseeing and refreshments (own expense).

Day 3: Cruise - Bay of Islands - Auckland
Cruise amongst the many islands of the Bay and through the intriguing Hole in the Rock, dolphin watching en-route. Board your waiting coach and travel back to Auckland once more. Arrive in Auckland early evening.
